Dr. Dinesh Pai was one of this year’s recipients of the 2012 Discovery Accelerator Supplement (DAS) for his work on Computational Models of Human Movement.
The DAS program is funded by NSERC and provides resources to researchers who have a superior research program in the areas of originality and innovation and who demonstrate strong potential to become global leaders within their field. Funding provided by the DAS program allow researchers explore high-risk or potentially transformative concepts.
Dr. Pai has now won this prestigious award twice. He was also one of the winners of the DAS when the program was first introduced in 2007.
