Alumni Levin and Sueda start faculty positions at U. Toronto and Texas A&M

Our Ph.D. graduates continue to be in demand at the world’s top universities. Drs. Levin and Sueda, who both received their Ph.D.s supervised by UBC Professor Dinesh K. Pai, started new faculty positions this year.

Levin is an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Toronto. His thesis was on numerical simulation with applications in computer graphics, biomechanics, and medical imaging.

Shinjiro Sueda is an assistant professor of computer science at Texas A&M University. His thesis was in physically based animation and computer graphics, specializing in biomechanical simulations.
